Good Morning Britain, a popular morning TV show in the UK, is under fire for deleting a poll on Twitter after the results showed that 89 percent of people were opposed to mandatory vaccination.
The show’s poll asked: “With Omicron cases doubling every two days, is it time to make vaccines mandatory?”
When it looked like the overwhelming majority opposed mandatory vaccination, the show apparently decided to take the poll down. Twitter users have provided screenshots showing the results, with 89 percent opposing mandatory vaccines and 11 percent in favor of them after more than 42,000 votes were tallied with roughly 20 hours remaining.
Several users took to the social media platform to ask the show why it pulled the poll. Good Morning Britain has not explained why it was removed, but the answer seems obvious. One user wrote: “Guess that wasn’t the answer they were looking for,” while another commented, “Why did you delete this poll, is it because you were asked? Or because it shows the people don’t support this s**t, this tyrannical future your colleagues seem to want. We see you.”
The show was hosted until recently by Piers Morgan, who has aggressively pushed for mandatory vaccinations and face masks and supports lockdowns.
Although many of the voters were presumably in the UK, more scientific polls carried out in the U.S. have also found the majority opposed to mandatory vaccination.
A Quinnipiac University poll found that 51 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s vaccine mandate plan for private employers and government workers. Although much of this does fall along party lines, 56 percent of independents disapprove of the mandate. The poll also found that 48 percent of Americans think that Biden’s mandate goes “too far.”
It is also worth noting that 73 percent of the respondents to that poll said that they have already been vaccinated or planned to receive the vaccine. This means that a significant number of people personally support vaccination while opposing the concept of mandates.
Not surprisingly, when it comes to vaccine mandates for children, the opposition is even greater. Another Quinnipiac University poll found that seven out of 10 parents with children under the age of 18 are opposed to vaccine mandates for students. When asked if students in kindergarten through 12th grade should be required to get the vaccine when they were eligible, 68 percent of parents said no, while just 30 percent said that it should be mandatory.
The same poll found that most Americans disapprove of the way President Biden is handling the pandemic overall, with 50 percent saying they disapprove and 48 percent saying they approve.
It is not surprising that Good Morning Britain covered up the fact that so many respondents to its poll opposed mandatory vaccination. It’s all part of a larger trend that has seen Big Tech doing their best to make sure that people who say anything negative about vaccines, whether they are doctors discussing proven vaccine adverse effects or ordinary people questioning the wisdom of mandates, are silenced, blacklisted or discredited by “fact checkers.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has admitted the federal government is working with Big Tech to stop what it deems “misinformation.” Facebook whistleblowers explained how an algorithm is used to suppress posts based on their “vaccine hesitancy score.” Among the posts being suppressed are those labeled Indirect Vaccine Discouragement, which include “shocking stories” that could deter others from getting the jab – even if they are true.
When it is so painfully clear that a huge effort is being made to ensure people don’t hear the full story, how can anyone be surprised that so much of the public has reservations about forcing these vaccines on people?
