You have been lied to about fluoride

Health authorities have spent decades convincing people that they dump fluoride into the water supply for our benefit.

The safety and “benefits” of fluoride are indeed just a massive lie. Supposedly, it helps prevent tooth decay. But did you know before fluoride was added to the water supply, it was used as rat poison?

In the 1920s, the aluminum industry was booming. It did more than just produce cans though, it also created a lot of toxic waste, in the form of fluoride. Safe and efficient disposal of fluoride is quite expensive, so rather than spend money on doing so, aluminium manufacturers came up with a brilliant idea. They created a market for their toxic waste by turning it into insecticides and rat poison.

The American Dental Association even cautioned against the use of fluoride in their October 1, 1944 edition of the Journal of the American Dental Association. The ADA stated, “The potentialities for harm (from fluoridation) far outweigh those for the good.”

In 1947, however, Oscar R. Ewing was appointed to be the head of the Federal Security Agency. This position also put him in charge of the U.S. Public Health Service. The national water fluoridation campaign flourished under Ewing. In the ’40s, several scientific studies reportedly found that people who lived in areas with naturally-occurring higher levels of fluorine had better dental health. However, since that time, the validity of these studies has been questioned and many have wondered if the data in these studies was fabricated by scientists with ties to companies interested in selling fluoride.

In more recent times, studies have shown that fluoride is a neurotoxin and that it doesn’t really do anything to help prevent or halt tooth decay. Fluoride has also been found to cause birth defects, learning disabilities, osteoporosis and damage to major organs such as the kidneys, liver and brain. Fluoride can also harm your immune system, respiratory system and your digestive system. In a 2012 review, Harvard researchers found that 26 out of 27 studies that were analyzed provided evidence that childhood IQ decreased with higher fluoridate concentrations in the water supply.

There are countless other studies that indicate the myriad of toxic and harmful effects caused by fluoride. In 2010, Time Magazine even listed fluoride on its list of top household toxins. They even labeled the substance “neurotoxic and potentially tumorogenic if swallowed.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, fluoride also has a tendency to accumulate in body tissues, making it even more harmful.

There is a reason why there is a warning label on your toothpaste! And it’s because fluoride is toxic, even in small amounts. Fluoride Action Network states that a child weighing 10 kilos, or 22 lbs, could be poisoned just by consuming 1 to 3 milligrams of fluoride at once. This is the same amount of fluoride that would be found in about 1 to 3 grams of toothpaste — which would be less than 3% of the tube.

The CDC reports that all 50 states fluoridate the water supply, and approximately 72% of the population consumes this toxic water regularly.

If you don’t do it already, you might want to consider filtering your own water and staying off the tap.
